  • 1832: André Blanchon opens the doors of a manufacturer specialized in the elaboration of fine dyes & colorants for the workshops of Soyeux lyonnais.

  • 1945: New era: the company turns to the manufacture of paints and lacquers

  • 1950: The 1st French wood floor lacquer is signed Blanchon

  • 1975: The Syntilor brand dedicated to the general public is created

  • 2000: Unique in Europe: Blanchon creates a UV application laboratory

  • 2009: Syntilor & Blanchon launch their first biobased products

  • 2021: The Group launches a complete range of biobased & high-performance solutions
